Six Chefs. Six Stars. One Unmissable Michelin Event

If there is one thing a Brummie foodie needs to put on their bucket list, it’s to experience a superb Michelin starred meal. But with Birmingham boasting four and another two in the wider West Midlands, its going to take some time, and some expense, to work through all six!

So it’s brilliant that Lichfield’s Sauce Supper Club is hosting a one-off culinary show-stopper this December that brings together all six Michelin star chefs to each cook a course to make one glorious fine dining experience!
 

Over the past two years, Beth and Jon Toovey, founders of Sauce Supper Club, have enjoyed great success organising pop-up fine dining experiences in Lichfield and Nottingham. Now they are busy planning this unique evening where six of the region’s finest chefs will be serving a memorable, gastronomic feast to 300 guests. This six-course dinner will be served in a festive setting with live music at the beautiful banqueting suite at Edgbaston Cricket Ground on Monday 3rd December.

The evening’s chefs include: Glynn Purnell (Purnell’s, Birmingham), Adam Stokes (Adam’s Restaurant, Birmingham), Luke Tipping (Simpsons, Birmingham), Brad Carter (Carters of Moseley), Adam Bennett (The Cross at Kenilworth) and Rob Palmer (Peels Restaurant, Hampton Manor, Solihull). With six Michelin stars between them, it really is a case of it being “The Best of Brum”.
 

“Although it is a party, it really is a night for foodies. The atmosphere is amazing and the food is clever – carefully orchestrated and very special” said Beth. “This is the second of this style of evening we have put together, following on from our sell-out evening with Tom Kerridge last year. It promises to be one to remember.”
 

Guests will also be able to enjoy snacks by the very talented Liam Dillon from The Boat Inn, Lichfield.
 

Beth said,

“We can’t often call something unique, but in this instance we know it will be totally unique and exclusive. I don’t know if you’ll be able to experience these particular six chefs all together again, so we really believe it is going to be something really special.”
