The Night Owl

17-18 Lower Trinity Street, Digbeth, Birmingham, West Midlands, B9 4AG
The Night Owl

About

This iconic venue gains its name from a classic Northern Soul record ‘The Night Owl’ by Bobby Paris. Northern Soul isn’t just a type of music, it’s a way of life. The records, the dancing, the clothes,  and the lifelong friends made. Richard Priest has adored Northern Soul since his teenage years in the 1970s; he became a regular at infamous all-nighter parties at legendary venues such as Wigan Casino. His dream has become a reality. Combining Richard Priest’s vision with Promoter Mazzy Snape’s know-how the venue has evolved into the place to be for all fans of good soul and guitar-based music.

The Night Owl features a modern spin on vintage interiors designed by Stax Creations, the people behind the fantastic exterior of The Old Crown Beer Garden. If you want to try a bit of Northernn Soul, you can even dance the night away safely on its sprung wooden dance floor!
