Birmingham Coffee Festival is BACK!

Join us from 5 to 7 July, with an exclusive industry-only session on the 5th at The New Bingley Hall. Whether you're a coffee geek or just love a good brew, everyone's welcome to soak in the vibes and celebrate the buzzing Birmingham coffee scene.

Thanks to everyone’s incredible support last year, we are rolling in even more exciting features that you won't want to miss!

This year, we are putting a focus on our body and mind, and introducing the brand new Well-being Zone! Explore a wide range of brands allied with our industry, and turn your coffee adventure into a total zen experience.

What’s more? You will be able to sample all the top-notch coffee and treats from over 60 exhibitors, watch talented roasters and baristas competing at the epic Extracted Development coffee competition, engage in thought-provoking talks and panels with industry experts, acquire new skills at various workshops, taste some mind-blowing coffee with a guided sensory experience at the tasting room, discover crafty gems at the makers marketplace, enjoy delicious food and much more. Bring your kids and dogs along and enjoy a fun weekend together!

Don’t forget to bring along your favourite reusable cup - we are keeping it eco-friendly by going paper cup free.

  • Birmingham Coffee Festival is an accessible event for anyone who loves coffee! This year, we are putting a spotlight on our body and mind, and introducing a brand new Well-Being Zone, where you can explore a wide range of brands that are allied with our industry that will elevate both your coffee and well-being journey!

    There will be an industry-only session on 5 July (Friday) afternoon with programs designed specially for people who work in the coffee industry.

    On 6 - 7 July (Saturday and Sunday), our main focus will be sharing the value of specialty coffee and well-being with our audience of coffee consumers and anyone who just wants to enjoy some fun caffeinated times!

    We've got a whole lot of awesomeness lined up for everyone including - all the delicious coffee and delights you can sample, an epic competition Extracted Development featuring talented baristas and roasters, a talks and panels program bursting with insights from industry experts, a tasting room taking you on a sensational journey through the diverse world of coffee origins, a series of interactive workshops for you to learn new cool skills, a well-being zone to explore your inner harmony, a makers marketplace packed with crafty wonders, friendly family activities, food, drinks and much more!

  • What else will there be apart from coffee?

    Tea, chocolate, pastries, cocktails, dairy and alternative milk are just some of the things you’ll be able to sample at the event apart from coffee!

    What else can I do at the event?

  • Yes, we highly encourage you to bring your own cup to the festival because we are a paper cup free event. You can also purchase a festival cup on site if you forget to bring one. Some exhibitors will also have reusable cups provided at their stands. Washing stations will be set up around the venue, so you can enjoy every sip sustainably and conveniently.

  • Dogs are welcome but please remember that this is a busy event and may not be suitable for all dogs.

    Water and treats for dogs will be available at the venue.

Cup North is proud to work with different charity organisations who share our ambition to make a positive contribution towards specialty coffee communities and the communities local to our events. This year, we will be partnering with Farmers’ Voice Radio and a local organisation (to be announced soon). Farmers’ Voice Radio’s work in supporting coffee farmers to help transform their lives with the power of radio is truly inspiring. We are committed to working with our community partners to help make a real difference in the world of specialty coffee.

6% of the Birmingham Coffee Festival ticket sales will be evenly donated to Farmers’ Voice Radio and a local charity.
