Lorna Want
Lorna grew up in Solihull, and trained at the Carlton Junior Television workshop in Birmingham. Daughter of ex-professional Birmingham City footballer Tony Want, the Wants have had their share of success in their professional fields.

She made her West End Debut at the age of 15 in Romeo and Juliet the Musical at London’s Piccadilly Theatre, and has continued to have a career in the West End, and regionally in musicals including Footloose, Evita, The Fantasticks, Dreamboats and Petticoats, Parade, High School Musical, Annie get Your Gun, Roman Holiday, and Beautiful the Carole King Musical, for which she
won the 2015 Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical. She is thrilled to be performing in her home town this evening, where she had her very first professional role as a child in Les Miserables at the Birmingham Hippodrome.

Want premiered the one woman show Girl in a Crisis, at London’s Crazy Coqs in 2018 for which she gained critical acclaim. The show’s album can be found on Spotify and Apple Music. She is also the vocalist for ‘Acoustic Earth’ a band which draws from the vocal stylings of George Ezra and Carly Rae Jepsen. They released their EP Amen in 2016. 

Her television work includes- Natalie in BBC 1’s I Dream , a children’s musical drama starring Christopher Lloyd. Casualty, Holby City and Doctors for the BBC. 

Chris Hatt
Hatt has been the Associate Musical Director of Hamilton, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s award winning hip hop musical about America’s founding fathers, since it opened in 2017. For 11 years he was the Musical Director of Billy Elliott the Musical and subsequent productions in New York, Chicago, and the Netherlands. He tutored the 3 Tony award winning boys who went on to play the part of
Billy on Broadway.

Hatt has also been the Musical Director on popular productions such as Guys and Dolls, Chaplin the Musical, Mack & Mabel, Thoroughly modern Millie, Footloose, Joseph, Aspects of Love, Scrooge, A slice of Saturday night, Little Shop of Horrors, Crazy for You, My Fair Lady, Fiddler on the roof, and Godspell, as well as various pantomimes and revue shoes.
