Birmingham Bach Choir, led by Music Director Paul Spicer, gives inspiring performances throughout the Midlands, with a distinctive mix of choral music accompanied by baroque orchestra, organ or a cappella.
Our repertoire spans six centuries but especially the music of JS Bach, the Baroque period and contemporary British choral music.
The Choir’s 2024 programme includes Bach’s St Matthew Passion ( Lichfield Cathedral, March), Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms, Elgar’s Give Unto The Lord & two commissions (by David Bednall & Paul Spicer) in the summer plus a beautiful selection of music this autumn by Whitacre, Rawsthorne, Britten, Ireland, & Rodney Bennet
