We are aware of a growing number of environmentally educated consumers, and expectations are higher of both leisure and group clients. To assist in this cause, we have developed the Green Group Package for tour operators and group organisers.

Ironbridge as a tourist destination can offer a great deal to the consumer who wishes to lower their carbon footprint. We work very closely with Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust and the Greenwood Centre to provide a sustainable destination to the leisure and group market. Once the traveller has arrived at the hotel by coach or public transport, it is possible to enjoy a short break in the Ironbridge Gorge and visit the museums and attraction on foot, or on bicycle.

Customer Reviews

Please find below comments from some of our group booking organisers who enjoyed their stay:

This was my first trip as Social Secretary of the Club and I was a complete novice at arranging such things so I want to send a great big ‘thank you’ to every member of staff who made our short break such a brilliant one.

The food was just ‘yummy’, I’m running out of superlatives so hope that will do, and the dining room staff under Pete’s watchful eye were courteous and willing.

I know this was just two days and in your book a very short time in a busy year but we shall not forget the wonderful Valley Hotel, the gorgeous setting and delightful people.

Just a quick word to say how much our group enjoyed our all too brief stay with you last week.

Lots of very good comments made about you all on the return journey, and this morning at our meeting. We were once again very impressed with the lovely and efficient staff and for the real warmth of welcome. Well done to all of you.  The word has gone out - you will be hearing from us again.

I personally wish to thank you all for making it so easy to work with you.
