Following last week’s sold-out performances of Lazuli Sky, Birmingham Royal Ballet and Birmingham Repertory Theatre are excited to announce a specially adapted production of the classic Christmas fairytale The Nutcracker.

The University of Birmingham’s much-loved Barber Concerts series celebrates its 75^th anniversary this year. To mark this special occasion, organisers are calling for people to send in their memories of Barber Concerts, which will be collated into a special archive to be shared online and on social media.

The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) is to return to Symphony Hall Birmingham, as its doors open for the first time in over seven months to enable live concerts for socially-distanced audiences.

Today it has been announced that Birmingham Repertory Theatre has been awarded a grant of £1.38 million from the Government’s Culture Recovery Fund. 

Birmingham Hippodrome is delighted to confirm it has received an offer of £3m from the Cultural Recover Fund and thanks Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DMCS) and Arts Council England (ACE) for providing a welcome lifeline for the independent charity until the end of March 2021.
