The taste of an English garden in the heart of Birmingham city centre

Aria restaurant, based in Hyatt Regency Birmingham, has launched its new autumn menu.

 

The talented chefs at Aria have revamped the menu using influences from Frances Hodgson Burnett’s book The Secret Garden. Led by Head Chef, Justin Gabriel Brown, the Aria team crafted a menu using fresh, seasonal ingredients for exciting flavour combinations from breakfast through till dinner.

This season’s favourites are the Lobster Bisque starter, served on Miller’s sour dough bread, crème fraise and garden herbs. For main, there’s Dingley Dell pork belly with dauphinoise potato, dried apple, roast cauliflower puree and asparagus with red wine jus. For desert, the chocolate mousse, served with mint sorbet and fresh raspberries will be a highlight for guests with a sweet tooth.

 

In addition to the stunning new A La Carte menu, Aria restaurant also serves a luxury afternoon tea. With three tiers of classic treats including a layer of freshly made fancies, soft finger sandwiches and a selection of flavoured mini scones with clotted cream and jams.

Set under a glass atrium roof, Aria restaurant is flooded with natural light by day. As the sun sets, tiny lights in the surrounding trees begin to glow creating a romantic place to drink and dine.

 
The newly installed Aria bar comes alive from 5pm and serves English wines, exquisite gins and unique floral cocktails. The signature cocktail is The Secret Garden made from house infused cucumber vodka, fresh mint and elderflower.
