Win a luxury break in Birmingham

This month we are celebrating reaching a massive 100,000 twitter followers with a massive prize!

To say thank you to our wonderful followers (that’s you) we are running a competition to give one lucky winner a luxury winter weekend break in Birmingham!

To make this fabulous prize possible we have teamed up with some of the city’s top attractions, hotels and restaurants to give you city break you won’t forget, the perfect pre Christmas getaway.

The winner will enjoy an overnight stay on Saturday the 26th November in the new luxurious 4 star Park Regis hotel. A hotel for leisure and business travellers alike, the four-star Park Regis guarantees an experience to satisfy even the most discerning traveller.

With 253 deluxe bedrooms, two mouth-watering restaurants and the largest presidential suite in Birmingham, Park Regis has brought a new element of luxury to the UK’s second city.

Once you have settled into your hotel you can walk into Birmingham city centre and enjoy a meal on us at one of the city’s most famous Indian Restaurants Ashas.

This multiple award winning restaurant opened in Birmingham 2006 and quickly became a firm favourite on the city’s food scene. The restaurant is located on Newhall Street in the cosmopolitan financial district, offering guest delicious food and tasty cocktails.

After an early dinner at Ashas it’s time to get into the Christmas spirit with 2 tickets to ‘The Nutcracker’ on Sat 26 Nov at 7.30pm.

Birmingham Royal Ballet’s evergreen production of The Nutcracker has been part of the City’s Christmas tradition for 25 years. This world-famous production by Sir Peter Wright, with exquisite designs by John Macfarlane, is acclaimed as one of the best in the world.

Join young Clara as she is swept away into an enchanting winter wonderland of dancing snowflakes and a Sugar Plum Fairy. Her magical Christmas tree and her handsome prince with his army of toy soldiers are an unforgettable delight. In this most festive ballet, gigantic sets, lavish costumes, 60 dancers and a full orchestra combine to make the perfect Christmas treat for the entire family.

If that wasn’t enough the city’s infamous Frankfurt Christmas market will be in full swing so a great opportunity to sample a gluwein or 2!
