Badminton

Birmingham: home to the All England Open Championships of the fastest racket sport on the planet.

Yonex All England Open Badminton Championships, March

The Yonex All England Open Badminton Championships epitomises sporting entertainment at its best and with the Olympic stars back in action in England, it was another thrill a minute.

The Championships took place at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham in March, the OSIM BWF Superseries Premier event showcased once again why it’s been given the status of one of the top five Championships in the world.

The atmosphere is electric from start to finish and unlike tennis; you can shout and cheer to your heart’s content whilst the players are mid rally. The Championships welcome almost 300 players from 42 countries and with an attendance of more than 34,000 spectators across the six days of competition, it’s easy to see how people keep returning year after year.
