Retail Birmingham Awards 2014-Voting is Open!

Have you received outstanding customer service in Birmingham city centre? If the answer's yes, cast your vote to be in with a chance of winning a £250 shopping voucher!

Retail Birmingham is celebrating outstanding achievements in retailing with the launch of its prestigious Retail Birmingham Awards 2014.
The awards, sponsored by the National Skills Academy for Retail at Solihull College, are designed to recognise and reward retailers and individuals working in Birmingham city centre for excellence in customer service, team work, emerging talent and leading in industry standards.
Shoppers can nominate a store, bar, restaurant, hotel, bank or any retail business in the city centre for excellent customer service online at ShoppinginBirmingham.com from Monday 24 February – 22 March. Each person that nominates in the public vote will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win a £250 shopping voucher to spend in the city centre.

In addition to the public nominations, retailers can also nominate themselves, a colleague or their team for one of the three Retailer Awards:
• Retail Team of the Year
• Retail Talent of the Year (under 25)
• Retail Person of the Year

Following the closing date, public nominations will be counted and retail awards' winners will be carefully selected by a panel of industry and media judges including Chair of Retail Birmingham, Jonathan Cheetham and Senior Director of Employment and Skills at Solihull College, Shaun Hindle.

Each winner will be presented with a Retail Birmingham Award trophy and prize in their store by a special celebrity guest presenter during the week commencing 7 April. The winner of the £250 shopping voucher will be announced in early April.

The 4 Step Spring Fix At Bullring, 17 April

It’s time to unleash a spectrum of colour into your wardrobe, packing away the muted tones of winter and embracing the bright, bold and warm colours of spring.  On Thursday 17th April the Spring Fashion Fix comes to Bullring bringing a day of fashion master classes, colour matching how-tos and complementary beauty treatments plus in-store activity and discounts.

Put the date in your diary as Bullring becomes your hub for all things SS14; there’ll be opportunities to book one-to-one Colour Fix appointments with a colour consultant who can advise on tones for your spring wardrobe. There’ll also be inspiring in-centre Trend Fix installations showcasing some of the season’s most sought after looks.

You can also take inspiration from the Style Fix workshops where a fashion expert will demonstrate how to wear some of SS14’s most talked about trends such as Monochrome, Pastels and Sports Luxe, whilst the Beauty Fix pods brands from around the centre will be offering complementary pampering treatments.

Many of the centre’s fashion and beauty brands will be offering exclusive discounts and in-store activity as well as giveaways and gifts with purchase.

You can pre-register for this free event now at www.bullring.co.uk/SFF where you’ll also find a list of the confirmed activity and discounts as well as timings for the Style Fix workshops and details of how to book your colour consultation. Or simply visit the event hub on the Lower West Mall (outside of Debenhams) on the day.
