Night clubs

Start the weekend in style. Bustling Broad Street, sophisticated Mailbox or the vibrant Arcadian? Europe’s youngest city awaits on the dance floor.

Broad Street

Broad Street is well known for being the centre of the nightlife action and is home to Birmingham biggest nightclub Gatecrasher. With four club rooms all playing a variety of music, ranging from the biggest dance and house anthems to alternative indie and dubstep, this club really does have something for everyone.

For a whole night out in one venue try Bar Risa in the heart of Broad Street, which plays host to one on the biggest club nights on a Saturday with 6 rooms of epic music.

Why not experience the excitement of Grosvenor Casino? Open 24 hours a day, the Grosvenor Casino offer something a little different to the other bars and clubs on Broad St.  You will find great food, late bars, quality entertainment and the best gaming.

If bars and pubs are more your scene take a look here.

Southside

Venture further into the city and explore all that Southside has to offers. Visit the exciting Bambu with its Moroccan themed garden and exclusive booths, giving your night a classy and unique edge.

Go over the road to the Arcadian and get the party started at one of its many bars and clubs such as Indi Bar. Spend your Saturday night throwing some shapes on the dance floor and drinking some tasty cocktails.

Southside is also home to the city's buzzing gay scene and Nightingales is a clubbing must as one of the most established spots in The Gay Village. The club regularly hosts many famous faces and DJ’s making sure everyone has an incredible time.

Between The Mailbox and The Arcadian you’ll find the award-winning Island Bar.  With a focus on top quality drinks, a funky interior and a rock’n’roll music policy a good night is guaranteed.  Also check out the cocktail master classes for the perfect way to get your Saturday night off the ground.

Jewellery Quarter

Hidden in the leafy tranquillity of the Jewellery Quarter’s St Paul's Square lurks the jumping Jam House - the live music bar whose musical director is none other than Rhythm and Blues maestro Jools Holland.  Boogie Woogie rules with duelling pianists and special guest artists giving their all.

Summerrow

The exclusive Summerrow is the ultimate luxury clubbing destination, where you can add a touch of class and sparkle to your evening.

Après is chilled by day and buzzing at night, a relaxed ski-lodge style bar with wood burning fires, giant plasma screens showing the latest sporting fixtures and mellow music that blends into up-tempo grooves for the evening.

If you’re in search of class then Mechu is the venue for you, home to the ultimate in exclusivity. The private VIP club lounge has a stylish nod to the sixties and a champagne bar with ‘Dom Perignon By Night’ status, giving the venue an extremely luxurious atmosphere.

Students

The huge student population still demands full-on fun that venues like Snobs and Sunflower Lounge provide. But for some, it’s our small unique-feel clubs that stand out. Come for your gay scene. Come for euphoric house. Come for big, bold, phat beats or chilled out all-dayers. Whatever rocks your world, just come for the floor-filling fun of it.
