Award winning local takeaway pops-up at Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens

Saturday 17 June, 12.30 -4.30pm

Regional King of Curries, Chutney Express, will be selling their yummy food at the Gardens regular pop-up café event this Saturday (17th)
Chutney Express’s food has won accolades nationally and regionally- fame and followers are increasing across the east of the region.
The Gardens ‘Taking time for me’ afternoons are relaxed afternoons to encourage visiotrs to forget the shopping, forget the traffic come and chillout in serene surroundings, chat with friends listen to some music and scoff some superb local or artisan nosh.

Normal Entry prices
£4.50/4 for adults/concessions (plus Gift Aid)
£1 for children, Under 5s free


Austen in the Open – Sense and Sensibility in the Gardens 

Saturday 1 July and Sunday 2 July 3pm -6pm

Celebrating Jane Austen’s anniversary year, The Crescent Theatre drop by our Gardens for their first outing on their Open Air Tour.
Sense and Sensibility is a fast paced, cleverly written adaption by Jessica Swale, following the fortunes of the Dashwood sisters as, cheated of their inheritance by their selfish brother, they pursue their dreams. Against the backdrop of the 18th century Gardens, it’s almost as if Austen‘s world had come alive

Tickets £10, available in advance, in person at the Gardens or online at the Crescent box office 


National Gardens Scheme Charity Day 

Saturday July 8th 12.30 -4.30

Our multiple charity day: You give - we give away.
The National Gardens scheme supports a host of nursing charities including Macmillan, Marie Curie, Carers Trust and the National Autistic charity. Every year we open our Gardens and donate to the NGS charities.
Come along and enjoy yourself with us and be part of the give away
Lots of goodies to sample or take part in including :
• Change Kitchen doing a pop-up of vegan and veggie food,
• Our friend Trevor from Hosta Groundcare will lead our popular- Summer Baskets Workshop (advanced booking coming soon.
• And, to celebrate Wimbledon; croquet, tennis and maybe some other (mini) sporting games on the lawn.

Gates open for booters at 8am
Free entry for public (at 8.30 onwards)
