With the 2017 Basketball Cup Finals rapidly approaching, the excitement at the box-office has been heightened by the release of tickets for the 2018 edition.

With both men’s and women’s events taking place at the renowned Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham on Sunday 28th January 2018, the Basketball Cup Finals will continue to take place at their spiritual home which provides a superb and fitting backdrop to one of the biggest days in the British Basketball calendar.

Up to 10,000 fans regularly pack out the venue and enjoy a fusion of some of the best ballers in the land, alongside plenty of entertainment courtside with music, cheerleaders and the hugely popular dunk contest.

“We are thrilled to be able to continue at the Barclaycard Arena into 2018,”
said BBL Chief Operating Officer, Andy Webb.

“It’s exciting that to meet the demand and make sure fans can have the pick of their seats as early as possible, we are able to put tickets on sale more than a year before the event is taking place.

“Having both the BBL and WBBL Cup Finals alongside each other for the first time in January will be terrific and I am sure fans will want to make sure they are there for the 2018 edition as well.

“The popularity of our showpiece Finals go from strength to strength, with many fans coming back time and time again, as well as new supporters discovering the sport and what we can offer each year at events like this.”

General Manager of the Barclaycard Arena, Guy Dunstan, added: “We are excited to welcome back the BBL Cup Finals to the Barclaycard Arena in 2018. The events have a great following in the Midlands, and attract thousands of spectators from across the country. It is sure to be another fantastic end to the season, and one of the highlights of the 2018 sporting calendar.”
