Valentines Champagne Dinner @ Hotel du Vin
From £99 per person, including arrival drink with canapes, four course dinner and Champagne, Hotel du Vin are offering a special evening of decadence for you and your loved one. Hosted by wine dinner favourite and Master sommelier NIgel Wilkinson of Boutinot Wines. Nigel will talk guests through each of the Champagnes from Lallier's diverse portfolio as you enjoy a perfectly matched Hotel du Vin four course dinner.

Valentine's Dinner @ Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery
Impress your chosen companion and take them to an elusive and exclusive after-hours event in the fabulous surroundings of the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery (BMAG). Set in the Industrial Gallery, you'll be spoiled with a five-course menu cooked by BMAG's expert chef team. As you dine, sweet melodies will fill the room throughout the evening, courtesy of local guitarist and singer-songwriter Robert Lane.
After all that wining and dining, generosity will be soaring, and what better way to say I LOVE YA then heading to BMAG's gift shop, the perfect place to find that thoughtful Valentine's Day gift. The five course meal costs £47.50 per head, and the tables can be booked between 7pm-9pm, but act quickly! The event sold out last year and this year's is set to do the same. Brief Encouter @ The REP Theatre
The love gurus here at Visit Birmingham HQ believe going to the theatre is fabulous choice for a romantic Valentine's day, especially for a production like this. Showing from February 2nd - 17th, Kneehigh Theatre and Birmingham REP present Noel Coward's Brief Encounter, adapted and directed by Emma Rice. The film itself is known as one of the most haunting love stories of all time, and the Kneehigh production has triumphed in the West End, with stellar performances touring the globe. Running from Feb 2nd - Feb 17th, tickets are priced from £15 and you can book them here.
All You Need Is Love Fest @ Fletchers and Hare and Hounds
Celebrate all kinds of love on the pre-Valentine's Day fest on Saturday February 11th at Fletchers in Kings heath, situated directly opposite the ruins of the Ritz Ballroom where the Beatles concert took place. The 'All You Need Is Love' concert will feature a selection of musicians singing their favourite Beatles love songs, from 3pm to 6pm. From 7pm onwards, Hare and Hounds will open it's doors for an evening concert by top tribute band Made In Liverpool to conclude the love-filled festival. This annual event is the perfect place to celebrate all things filled with luuuurve, so no wonder it's a sell out! Grab tickets from Kitchen Garden Cafe in Kings Heath for £4, or pay £5 OTD.
Valentine's Supper @ Winterbourne House and Gardens
For a relaxing affair, head to Winterbourne House and Gardens, and enjoy a romantic 3-course evening meal for two (£35pp) with the backdrop of Winterbourne’s wonderful terrace tea room.
Why not enjoy a leisurely stroll around the gardens beforehand? This is a surefire way to work up an appetite, and due to typical British forecasts, you'll have to cuddle up even closer to your companion as you admire the gardens aroud you..... luuuuurve is in the air!

Get your bubbles and fizz fix at the National Prosecco Festival on the weekend prior to Valentine's, as afterall, the celebration of lurve is worth celebrating all week long! The National Prosecco Festival is the ultimate festival for Prosecco lovers and takes place at more than 30 locations UK wide ......and it's coming to Birmingham for the very first time. The Prosecco Festival will give bubble lovers a chance to sample more than 40 types of Prosecco and fizz. Valentine's Flamenco dinner @ Amantia
Nothing says 'I love you' more than dining over some delicious tapas whilst enjoying Flamenco expertise in action, does it? On Wednesday 14th, Friday 16th and Saturday 17th February Amantia are offering a special Valentine´s Set Menu at the main restaurant (although a la carte available on the day too). Couples Circus Workshop @ CircusMASH
To celebrate 250 years of Circus in 2018, CircusMASH will be running their very popular Valentines Day couple’s workshop for the third year in a row. You’ll work as a pair, on the ground, in the air, and cherish this memory of your circus affair. They love to get people trying things new, and they love a good old valentines day knee’s up so next year we are making a night of it. On Saturday 10th February 2018 we’ll be putting you through your circus paces from 3-6pm and they’ll be heading to Loco Lounge in Kings Heath to top off our amazing day with a well deserved drink (optional/drinks not included). What are you looking for?
Single hopefuls sign up for new dating experience inBirmingham this Valentine's Day. Digbeth First Dates launches this Valentine's Day at popular healthy eats and street food café Kanteen. Diners will be matched with like-minded singletons and enjoy a relaxed dining experience.
Applicants must first complete a short form outlining their interests and what they are looking for in a partner, the deadline for this is Saturday 10th February. The forms will then be reviewed, and a matching process will begin. Unfortunately, not everyone will be matched but those who get through will then be sent a secret link to buy their ticket covering their street food style meal.
“I’m really excited, it’s just something different to do on Valentines’ Day, isn’t it? And who knows maybe I’ll meet someone nice in the process!’ Says single hopeful, Jo Johnston, 33.
