Severn Valley Railway Family Fun Weekends!
Family Favourites are Star Attraction at Family Fun Weekend! Severn Valley Railway, 10-11 May
Children’s favourites Peppa Pig and George will be the star attractions alongside awe-inspiring steam engines and exciting family activities during this year’s Family Fun Weekend at the Severn Valley Railway.
Following last year’s hugely successful inaugural event, this year’s Family Fun Weekend will take place on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th May and includes personal appearances from Peppa Pig and George, who will appear at intervals on both days.
During the weekend, families can step back in time and enjoy a steam train ride along the beautiful Severn Valley, from Kidderminster in Worcestershire to Bridgnorth in Shropshire, whilst enjoying a huge range of additional activities along the line.
Children can get in the groove with a kids’ disco, let off steam on the inflatable play areas, enjoy a range of family entertainment including magic shows, fun art & craft workshops and face painting. There’s even a miniature railway to experience for a small extra charge.
Those wanting to find out more about the Railway, can visit The Engine House Visitor Centre at Highley, which is home to an impressive collection of reserve locomotives, majestic Royal Carriage, array of interactive exhibits and Railway-themed children’s outdoor play area.
Train tickets for the Family Fun Weekend are £12.10 for children (2-15 years), £18.90 for adults and Family tickets (two adults and up to four children) are £54.00. PRE-BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL.
