Connecting Stories – Our British Asian Heritage
21 October 11am – 4.30pm, Library of Birmingham
The Sansaar Family have been entertaining audiences in Birmingham and beyond since 2004. They will be taking over the Library of Birmingham for a day of vibrant and energetic activities influenced by the Punjab and North India. With something for all the family, join us for a day of dhol drumming, turban tying, dressing up in saris and Indian outfits, interactive storytelling, learning about Punjabi traditions and culture, henna, mendhi, bhangra, giddha and Bollywood dancing.
All activities are free, and available on a first come, first served basis.
