Time out for teachers planning a school trip

The National Sea Life Centre Birmingham is inviting teachers to enjoy an exclusive, free day out at the underwater attraction this October. Who knew homework could be so much fun!

Teachers and their guest are invited to visit from 9am on Saturday 1st October, after which they are free to stay for the day. Or alternatively they can experience the National Sea Life Centre after-hours on Tuesday 9th October from 7pm to 9pm.

With over 2,000 creatures to learn about, including Gentoo penguins, the UK's only 360º Ocean Tunnel, feeding demonstrations, talks and hand-on experiences there’s plenty to discover!

Dedicated to inspiring and educating children, the leading city centre attraction offers a host of exciting and informative programmes specifically tailored to support learning and development. It is the perfect place for pupils of all ages to explore and discover the underwater world and guarantees to excite the senses as children get to see, hear and even touch some of the fascinating marine creatures.

Accredited by the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom, the National Sea Life Centre Birmingham has passed a robust assessment designed to ensure it exceeds schools’ learning and risk management needs.

The attraction’s experienced team will be on hand during the events to share the perks of booking, including a FREE lesson plan, risk assessment and age-tailored self-guided tours, all linking in with the curriculum!

Proof of Teacher status and an Eventbrite ticket entitles one person and their guest to attend the exclusive, free events. For more information and to book tickets see here
