Tickets SOLD OUT for three days of Edgbaston's Investec Ashes Test Match

Only Day 1 & 5 tickets remain on sale for 3rd Investec Ashes Test match

The first allocation of tickets for days 2, 3 and 4 of the Investec Ashes Test Match at Edgbaston are now SOLD OUT, with tickets now only available for days 1 & 5 of the most sought after Test Match in Birmingham since 2009.

Edgbaston hosts England and Australia in the 3rd Test of the 2015 Investec Ashes Series between Wednesday 29 July and Sunday 2 August, with the match expected to bring a £26.4 million boost to the local economy according to a recent study from Marketing Birmingham.

Gareth Roberts, Commercial Director of Warwickshire County Cricket Club, said:

“The Ashes is the biggest Test Match series in the world, and it’s fantastic for Edgbaston to host one of the five all-important matches, not only next summer but again in the following series in 2019.
“At present, tickets are only available for days 1 and 5, and we would encourage fans that are planning to attend to book in the coming days to avoid disappointment. Any tickets that are returned by our sponsors for the sold out days will be released in March.”

England have a fantastic record at Edgbaston and have lost just one of their last 10 Test Matches in Birmingham, with the record including the famous ‘Greatest Test’ of the 2005 Ashes Series which England won by just two runs.

The 2015 Investec Test Match will be the 14th in an Ashes Series at Edgbaston with England currently boasting five wins compared to Australia’s three.

To book tickets for the 3rd Investec Ashes Test Match, visit www.edgbaston.com/tickets or call the Ticket Hotline on 0844 847 1902.
