There’s no time like summer time at Webbs Garden Centres
Summer 2017 at Webbs Garden Centres is set to be the biggest and best yet, with a range of events on offer, from an all human circus, to open air cinema experiences and Pirates and Princesses picnics. Not to mention a brand new gelato bar in the redeveloped Food Hall, choose from 12 flavours that are sure to keep you cool on even the hottest of days.
There are smiley faces all round whenever the John Lawson’s Circus comes to Webbs’ Wychbold, and the popular show will return once again from Tuesday 8th to Sunday 13th August, featuring aerial acrobatics and costing just £6 per person. And if all that wasn’t enough, little ones can get practicing for the circus themselves thanks to a brand new Circus Skills Workshops and Circus Crafts and Stories.
Also, following a very successful 2016, which saw little ones visit Webbs, Wychbold and see their favourite films come to life, the Webbs Open Air Cinema will be back for its second summer season. Families can sit back and enjoy children’s classics on selected dates from Friday 14th July, such as Beauty & the Beast and Mary Poppins, whilst enjoying tasty treats from the all new summer restaurant menu.
New for 2017 is ‘Make a Miniature Garden’, where budding gardeners can create their very own garden, and a magical one at that! Little ones will choose from a mermaid pool, fairy garden or wild jungle templates. Or if they’re feeling extra creative that can create their own designs! This activity costs just £5 and takes place on Tuesday 29th August.
With its own Pets and Aquatics Department, Webbs, Wychbold, prides itself on pet care expertise and its knowledge of all animals, and to celebrate our fluffy friends the garden centre hosts its annual Love Your Pet Day on Saturday 24th June, where visitors can receive expert advice on their pets and how to look after them, enjoy some funny animal antics, watch The Fun Dog Show and get up close and personal with chameleons!
Also, for the first time ever, the garden centre is asking local parents to encourage their little ones to dig out their best dressing up outfits for a Pirates and Princesses Picnic on Tuesday 1st August, where they can enjoy stories and singing, a picnic lunch and win some lovely prizes.
