Bullring has unveiled its new TV campaign; There Are Many Sides to Bullring
The iconic centre’s advertising agency, isobel, have again teamed up with Wallace and Gromit creators, Aardman Animations, to create the campaign.
The campaign builds on the success of Bullring’s previous We Are So City campaign, which was nominated for a number of national awards and named the 2013 BCSC Purple Apple Awards’ winner of the Effective Advertising category.
There Are Many Sides to Bullring features a 13ft fully-automated mechanical model designed to express and bring to life the brilliant collisions that are unique to the centre. The TV advert demonstrates the many sides of Bullring from food to fashion, beauty to technology and of course the iconic bull.
The campaign consists of TV advertising on ITV Central with appearances in key slots including Coronation Street, I’m a Celebrity and The X Factor, as well as radio, outdoor, online and in-centre advertising.
Tim Walley, General Manager at Bullring, commented:
“Our previous campaign, We Are So City, was a roaring success, which produced some excellent results for the centre, so we wanted to build on this success. Working with isobel and Aardman Animations we have now been able to evolve the campaign to bring to life the excitement and buzz that our centre offers.”

“This is all for real. I can’t believe that Aardman managed to make the model that actually works in real time. There’s no CGI and hardly any post-production which is fresh and exciting - and rare nowadays”.
