Resorts World Birmingham announces more tenants in advance of its opening on 21st October.
Resorts World Birmingham, the £150m leisure and entertainment resort located at the NEC, will open its doors on Wednesday 21st October at 10.00am.
This will be the first phase of the resort coming to life over the next few weeks. Visitors on the first days can expect to find over 2/3rds of the retail in the outlet mall open. From Monday 26th October visitors to Resorts World Birmingham can experience the night time offer at the complex as the casino, bars and restaurants open for business joining the eleven screen Cineworld cinema which opens on 23rd October.
Joining the anchor stores GAP Outlet, Nike Factory Store and Next Outlet and opening on 21st October, Resorts World Birmingham is today confirming the following additions to the retail mix. H & M who will be opening only their second outlet store in the UK at the resort and will be joined by The Body Shop, Holland and Barrett, Regatta Outdoors and Trespass. Fashion retailers Pretty Green, Carharrt and Pringle of Scotland are also confirmed as well as bespoke candle retailer Farringdon and Forbes and unique to the UK, childrenswear line Legowear.
Additionally, Spanish children’s fashion retailer Charanga and ladies fashion designer Winser London will open in early November.
Open for business on the 21st October will be TGI Fridays and Pizza Express whose locationswithin the complex allow diners to enjoy lakeside views and Patisserie Valerie will serve their popular menu from a position within the outlet mall.
South American themed restaurant Las Iguanas is joining the range of places to eat from Mid November. Only five retail units and one food and beverage space remain to be let.
Resorts World Birmingham is the result of a direct £150m investment by Genting UK into the region part of the Malaysian headquartered global leisure business, the Genting Group.

From the 21st October when over 2/3rds of our retailers open their doors and the subsequent weeks when Resorts World Birmingham becomes fully operational our guests will be able to experience the unique atmosphere and offer of a resort destination.
