We’re so pleased to be welcoming these amazing artists to the Coffin Works for our annual folk evening! Birmingham has such a lively and exciting music scene; it’s a great thing for us to form even a tiny part of it. And it will be a pleasure to hear the performers in our wonderful courtyard setting.

The Performers:
Birmingham-based Ashland, formed in 2015, are made up of Kathryn Marsh (vocals) and David Sutherland (guitar/vocals) and have supported the highly-acclaimed Ange Hardy and folk legend Steve Tilston since then.

"[They] have a sound that sits in the area where folk hits the more sophisticated side of acoustic pop…" Fatea Magazine.
