Moseley Cricket Club hit for six with Park Regis sponsorship
Birmingham’s Park Regis hotel has teamed up with Moseley Cricket Club to provide new whites for its flourishing 1st XI team.
The four-star hotel, which opened its doors in March, has worked closely with the club to provide sponsorship for the new kit, featuring the Park Regis’ distinct fleur de lis emblem on its shirts.
Malcolm Eustace, chairman at Moseley Cricket Club, said:
Moseley’s success on the field depends on the attitude and passion of the players. We’re working hard to bring back the success of the team and sponsorship like this has helped give the club a lift. When people take to the field wearing a new kit, it helps give them a lift psychologically and provides more enthusiasm around the team and club. This has been evident in recent matches where we’ve seen some outstanding performances.
It’s really pleasing that an organisation of this stature would want to try and help sports clubs in their local community and area. Park Regis chose Moseley as the club they wanted to support and we’re incredibly grateful.
Rebecca Delmore, director of sales at Park Regis Birmingham, said:
As huge cricket fans it’s an amazing opportunity for us to engage with the community and provide support to a team like Moseley. Watching the team play wearing their new kit provides us with a huge sense of pride and we wish them the best of luck with their matches throughout the summer.
