Enjoy the Sunniest Flavours with Hotel du Vin Birmingham

To celebrate the arrival of summer, Hotel du Vin Birmingham has launched a new Al Fresco menu designed to be enjoyed outdoors.

Inspired by French regional classics, the two and three course menu is fantastically well priced and full of lighter flavours and seasonal ingredients. The set menu includes a glass of pinot, either pinot blanc Biescher Schaal from the Alsace region of France, or pinot noir from Les Nuages in the Loire Valley, either red or rosé.
The menu features dishes from across France, including Bayonne Ham with celeriac remoulade from the South West of France and Normandy chicken cob salad, made with Roquefort cheese and roast pancetta.

Other menu favourites include the steak frites, a char-grilled rump steak with Béarnaise sauce and a tropical fruit pavlova with rum cream and a fruity sauce.

Famed for hearty honest cooking with a British and French twist, Hotel du Vin’s Al Fresco menu is ideal for light summer evenings and lazy lunches. Each dish has been carefully cho-sen by Hotel du Vin’s talented chefs to evoke the taste of summer. These quintessential Gallic classics are designed to be eaten with friends in the convivial Hotel du Vin bistro setting.

Alongside Hotel du Vin’s extensive wine list a new range of al fresco drinks are on offer. Jugs of Sangria, Pimms, or Aperol Spritz, fruit beers and ciders on ice, or delicious cocktails are all designed with summer socialising in mind. Favourites include the ‘Hotel du Vin Garden Spritz’, made with Hendricks Gin, raspberries and lime topped with Crémant d'Alsace Rosé, or ‘Pomegranate and Lime Fizz’ with Eritoff vodka, Pama pomegranate liqueur and egg whites.

The new Al Fresco menu will run from April 23rd 2015. Two courses start from £19.95 which includes a glass of wine.
