Digbeth Dining Club comes to Brindleyplace
Brindleyplace is bringing award-winning street food to the city centre with Digbeth Dining Club set to host its first lunchtime session on the estate next week.
A selection of traders – to be announced via the Brindleyplace website on Monday 9th April – will be in Central and Oozells Square between 11am and 3pm on Thursday 12th April offering employees and visitors to the estate a street food alternative for lunch.
From May, Digbeth Dining Club will be at Brindleyplace at lunchtimes on the second Friday of every month until September, alongside the long-standing local produce markets which will continue to take place on the last Friday of each month.
Caroline Pooley, Property Management Consultancy Director and Head of Destination Marketing at GVA which manages Brindleyplace, said:
“Brindleyplace already has a great offer when it comes to food and drink – thanks to the 25 bars, cafés and restaurants currently on the estate – but we’re always keen to try something new and bring some of the city’s best features to life for the 10,000 workers based here. As Birmingham’s original street food event, we’re excited to be working with Digbeth Dining Club to give visitors and employees at Brindleyplace even more choice when it comes to what they have for lunch.
“With different traders each month and plenty of outdoor seating, as well as live music between 1-2pm, Digbeth Dining Club at Brindleyplace will be the perfect opportunity for people to grab some food and enjoy the outdoor spaces whilst soaking up the atmosphere this summer.”
At each event, Digbeth Dining Club will be giving visitors the chance to win five free meals to share with friends or colleagues, for more details follow @Brindleyplace on Twitter or like the Brindleyplace Facebook page.
