Christina says she's mad for a Birmingham balti
Mad Men star Christina Hendricks has revealed how she’s keen to make a pilgrimage to Birmingham to sample the delights of the world famous Balti Triangle.
In an interview with the Radio Times, the star of the iconic sixties series explained why the city is so close to her heart, as her father was born and raised in Birmingham and she has yet to make a visit.
Emma Gray, Director of Marketing Services for Visit Birmingham:
Christina would be in for a culinary treat if she makes her pilgrimage to the city and it would be interesting to see if she lives up to her fiery red hair in her taste for curry! With Birmingham home to more Michelin stars than any other city outside London, she might find she has to stay a while to fit in everything that’s on offer.”
In readiness for her arrival, Visit Birmingham has put together an itinerary fit for a glamorous Hollywood star:
Shop ‘til you drop…
