Blues FC visits the deep blue at The National Sea Life Centre Birmingham

More than 150 Season Ticket Holders and Blues Loyalty Members enjoyed an extra special visit to the National Sea Life Centre in Birmingham ahead of the big match this weekend.

The fans were joined by players Paul Robinson, Michael Morrison, Clayton Donaldson, Adam Legzdins and Maikel Kieftenbeld who had taken time away from their busy training schedule.

The players signed autographs, had sea-life themed pictures taken with the guests and took part in a Q+A building up to Sunday’s Second City Derby. It was also a great opportunity for the players to spend some quality family time with their own children at the attraction.

They were also given an exclusive guided tour of the facility, which had been closed for the evening especially for the BCFC event.

Event organiser Chris Brewerton, said:

Last night’s event saw Birmingham City FC and the National Sea Life Centre Birmingham host some of our most loyal supporters and their families to enjoy a one-off opportunity to have an exclusive tour of the attraction.
It was also a great chance to meet and greet five key first team players ahead of the weekend’s Second City Derby.
Beau and Belle were also on hand to welcome all supporters and it was fantastic to see upwards of 150 guests make the most of what was a great value and hugely enjoyable package.
As a club we have very much enjoyed working with the Sea Life Centre during 2016 and this event was the culmination of a partnership that will hopefully continue to grow in the future to the benefit of our supporters.

Amy Langham, General Manager at the National SEA LIFE Centre added:

We were delighted to welcome players from Birmingham City Football Club and their fans to the centre for an evening of meet and greets and an exclusive experience of the aquarium.
It was brilliant for players and fans to see all the many amazing creatures we have here and for the fans to have the opportunity to meet their team heroes. We’re looking forward to seeing how the team get on in Sunday’s match!
