Birmingham gets a bookings boost from New York
According to statistics from the UK's hotel booking specialist LateRooms.com, bookings in Birmingham hotels have increased by 24% in the last four months, supporting the recent advice given by New York Magazine, which encouraged its readers to go to 'Birmingham instead of London'.
The publication heaped glowing praise on the city for for its culinary delights, thriving jewellery trade, diverse music scene and world renowned Royal Ballet.
