Back by popular demand, Flash: A Tribute to Queen at Birmingham Botanical Gardens!
Queen fans will relive the magic of the band’s classic hits this summer as Birmingham Botanical Gardens welcomes back world renowned Queen tribute band, Flash.
Flash will entertain the crowd on Saturday 18 June with fan favourites such as Don’t Stop me Now, Bohemian Rhapsody and We Will Rock You. Ticket holders will be encouraged to sing along or dance to the beat, as crowd participation will be at the heart of the performance.
Realistic 70s costumes and replica equipment will be used to make the experience as authentic as possible. Fans that have seen Queen preform in the height of their success will be able to relive the experience, whereas fans who haven’t will get a glimpse of their charismatic stage presence.
Birmingham Botanical Gardens will be hosting a variety of events throughout the summer, including classic plays such as The Railway Children and Peter Pan; a circus and EID celebrations, as well as welcoming musical talent every Sunday and bank holiday Monday to the iconic bandstand until October.
James Wheeler chief executive of Birmingham Botanical Gardens said:
We’re very excited about welcoming back Flash as, true to their word, they really did Rock the Gardens last year. Flash will have you hanging on the edge of your seat, and with tickets this year selling quicker than 2015, we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
Guests will be able to enjoy both indoor and outdoor performances at the gardens this summer – visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic and grab some nibbles from our shop or the Pavilion Tea Room. We’ve got a great line up of events coming up over the summer months, with an extensive programme of fun and educational activities for children and families available daily.
Advanced bookings for Flash cost £24.95 and include a delicious curry dinner. Doors to the event will open at 6.30pm on Saturday 18 June. For more information and to book tickets visit www.birminghambotanicalgardens.org.uk or call 0121 454 1860.
