Acts announced for latest late summer festival at The Arcadian
A host of live music acts are taking to the stage at leading Birmingham city centre leisure venue The Arcadian tomorrow (Saturday) as part of its late summer festival.
The last two Saturdays have seen live DJs and musicians entertaining guests and this week The Arcadian is joining forces for the first time with Birmingham Promoters to deliver live music in the Piazza.
The independent live music, events and gigs promotions company has held live music sessions at the Glee Club and has organised acts at the venue as part of the Hippodrome’s Summer in Southside Festival.
For the inaugural event at The Arcadian, it has so far confirmed: Luke Rainsford, who will host an acoustic set; solo artist Conor O'Rourke; Jack Hopkinson, who has been featured on the BBC Introducing slot; Meg Ronan; Mikey Rainsford; Alex Voss, and Olive Pratt. Other artists are also expected to participate.
As part of the late summer festival, which will take place each Saturday from 3-10pm until September 24, participating centre’s clubs, bars and restaurants will have special offers for revellers, including two-for-one cocktails.
Lina Higuita, centre manager at The Arcadian, which is owned and managed by London & Cambridge Properties (LCP), said:
The sets we have organised so far have gone down really well with visitors and we are looking forward to this latest event with Birmingham Promoters. We hope to see the Piazza packed with music lovers who want to support the young music talent we have in the region.
