Birmingham Back to Back Houses - The National Trust

Located in the heart of the City Centre, 52 and 54 Inge Street are two of the eleven small houses that make up Birmingham’s last surviving courtyard of Back to Back houses. Inge Street is located next to the Birmingham Hippodrome. Stay here and become part of a living piece of urban history whilst accessing all the benefits that this vibrant cultural centre has to offer. The houses are small but offer en suite facilities and a basic kitchen unit, though most guests prefer to eat out at the many excellent café’s and restaurants on the door step, mainly using the kitchen unit for breakfast.

Both cottages are over three floors and sleep two people, with the sitting room on the top floor, bedroom with bathroom on the middle floor and dining room with kitchen unit on the ground floor. 52 Inge Street is decorated in the Victorian period and has two single beds. 54 Inge Street is decorated in the 1930’s style and has a double bed.
