NiteNite.. sleep tight
I always think it can be a nightmare finding good affordable accommodation in cities. There are just so many hotels all competing for one thing … you. So who do you trust!?
I was invited to NiteNite hotel, an uber-chic budget hotel based in the heart of Birmingham. The two main things you need to know about this hotel is:
NiteNite hotel is as central as you can get.. if it’s shopping you’re looking for, you are only a 10 min walk away, Night life – 2 min walk, Train Station – 5 min walk, ICC – 3 min walk… I’m sure you are beginning to get the picture!
As you enter you could have just stepped into the reception of a swanky New York apartment building. To your right sits the reception/bar/café, serving everything from alcohol, coffee, sandwiches to hotel rooms.
To your left sits an oversized leather sofa and chairs and a spiraling staircase that leads you to the rooms.
We headed up to the bedrooms, which I was very excited to see. They have been designed and based on the Japanese ‘pod’ concept, which I had seen before in London.
The space is cleverly compact to offer you everything you need for a great overnight stay! Each room has a very comfortable double bed with a large plasma screen tv, hosting an array of Freeview channels and an en-suite wet-room.
NiteNite's leaflet states ‘Why pay for more space when you don’t need it?’ and I totally agree. These rooms provide you with everything you need but at a price you can afford. You can't say fairer than that!
