Itihass
So good they’ve got two! One in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter and another in Selfridges. From the traditional dishes to the not so traditional, we just can’t keep away.
And their kulfi, well.. you’re just going to have to try it out for yourself! Take a look here.
Lasan
This award winning Indian restaurant sits within the historic Jewellary Quarter serving Indian cuisine which has been awarded best in the UK by Mr Ramsey himself.
Aktar Islam aims to ‘blow people away with with his exotic flavor combinations’ and that really isn’t very hard to see when you look at his menu.
p.s he’s also got an Indian Street Café called Raja Monkey which is very tasty and also cheaper (double bonus)!
Maharajar
If you’re looking for a curry house with experience you have found it!
Maharajar has been firmly on Birmingham’s curry map for over 40 years, culminating in various awards. Located a short walk from Birmingham’s Hippodrome theatre this is perfect pre/post theatre production!
Pushkar
Not only serving up brilliant Indian cuisine but also an impressive cocktail bar with a catalogue of classic cocktails and creative mocktails.

Shabab
With so many Indian restaurants in Birmingham’s re-known Balti Triangle, which do you choose? Well we love Shababs!
Founded in 1987, this Indian restaurant in one of four authentic Balti restaurants left in Birmingham. Traditional cooking techniques capture the true spirit of the Balti and just make it so darn delicious!
eastzeast
Having only opened in August 2014 the newby to Birmingham’s Indian cuisine food scene had a lot to prove and by golly have they done just that!
eastzeast is serving superb Indian cuisine within elegant surroundings which will not disappoint anyone.
