In honour of #NationalChocolateWeek we have put our experienced chocolate tasting pallets to the test and have selected the greatest Cadbury bar made!
Now if you follow us on twitter (@Visit_Bham) you will see that we are fully embracing #ChocolateWeek, beginning with this chocolate cake we devoured Monday morning.
Following the cake, we began thinking.. what else can we do to celebrate this great (our/my favourite) week… DING.
I ran down to the shops and grabbed a mixture of Cadbury chocolate bars.
We are going to select the greatest chocolate bar ever created by Cadbury (a massive fat excuse to eat more chocolate.)
I selected 7 different chocolate bars, ranging from the traditional to the ‘I didn’t even know they did this’ and laid them out before the panel, of whom consisted of:
Katie – Marketing Manager
Louise – Marketing Assistant
Paul – Digital Marketing Exec
Marcia – Partnership Sales Exec
The chocolate bars where anonymously labelled one to seven, as I thought the packaging may sway people’s opinions and I wanted this to be judged on pure flavour. [Yes I know that you can clearly see the Freddo is a Freddo and the Flake is Flake but I don’t care]
Ok, ok enough waffling.. the results:
Least favourite: Chomp
Why? Too chewy, gets stuck in your teeth and too small. Louise told us ‘it brings back bad memories’…. We didn’t ask.
Drum roll please……
Ultimate favourite: Flake
Why? Well where do I start, they began firing reasons across the table.. ‘it’s vintage,’ ‘it’s versatile,’ ‘no chewing – extremely easy.' 'SENSUAL' Marcia shouted across the room [silence]
So there you have it.. here at Marketing Birmingham we are a bunch of chomp hating, flake loving, chocolate addicts, what are you?
