Last week I was invited to the #BullringBloggers event. An annual event, hosted by the Bullring, to update everyone on what's new in store!
We have some great bloggers here in Birmingham, who do an amazing job of showcasing just about everything in Birmingham! It was lovely to see so many familiar and new faces around.
The event kicked off with 2 style presentations from Umberto Giannini and Karen Millan. Umberto Giannini talked us through the latest hair trends, which I’ll let you into a secret… curls, curls, curls. However, what I was most interested in was the launch of their brand new Mix ’n’ Match Blow Dry Bar in Selfridges! With this you get to tell them exactly how you want it and they will create a bespoke package.. you can even add a glass of champagne if it’s a special occasion! You can find out more here.
The room was full of pop-up shops, showcasing the latest make-up, jewellary, fashion, food, you name it, it was there!
I spotted a table in the far left corner; a girl named Rosie painting nails, so ran over and bagged myself a seat. ‘Nails By Rosie’ is based in the Custard Factory in Digbeth but does a lot of work with the Bullring. I was given a choice of four nail designs and opted for ‘the watermelon’ as I thought it was very fitting with the lovely weather we’re having.
After, I had a wonder around the room, looking at the latest jewellery from Follie Folli, Make up from Shu Umuera, Illamasqua and NARS, delicious food from Wagamamas and Nandos, when a cookie caught my eye! This cookie..
The #BullringBloggers event reminded me of just how lucky us Brummies are having all these great shops on our doorstep.
A big thank you to the Bullring girls for the invite!
